Lottery Application

The lottery application window for the 2025-2026 school year at our tuition-free French immersion public school is November 15, 2024 to January 1, 2025. Each year, we have 60 seats for kindergarten available and occasionally, we have 1st grade seats available.

Please stop this application and contact us directly at office@ecolestlandry.org if your child is entering 2nd grade or higher.

Please DO NOT complete this application if your child already attends our school.

By completing this application, you are entering your child's name in the lottery for Kindergarten or 1st grade. If we have more applicants than seats available, we will run a recorded lottery on Friday, January 3, 2025. Parents will be notified via email if they have been given a seat (or if they're on the waiting list) by Monday, January 6.

If there are fewer applicants than seats available, all applicants will get a seat and those who apply after January 1 will be given a seat on a first-come basis.

If you have more than one child for whom you'd like to submit applications, please complete a separate application for each child.

Important bus information:

Due to the size of St. Landry Parish, École Saint-Landry cannot provide door-to-door bus pickup for our students. Instead, we use designated satellite bus stops around St. Landry Parish, and our commitment is that all satellite stops will be within 5 miles of a student's home.

Additionally, there will be no bus stops for any student who lives within 1 mile from the school.

This FREE transportation is available for all students who choose to attend École Saint-Landry. Parents must submit transportation requests at the school when enrolling students.

Prior to the first day of school, parents are encouraged to check with the school to ensure their students are appropriately tagged as bus riders.
